Ideal wins top honours at inaugral Corgi Awards
Ideal Boilers has scooped the prestigious non-domestic product award for its Imax Plus in the inaugural Corgi Awards. The imax plus beat off competition from all major suppliers to win the prestigious title, voted for by Corgi registered installers and presented at a Gala Dinner during the recent Installer Live exhibition in Telford.
The imax plus won praise as a highly reliable, efficient and easy to install floor-standing boiler. Available in outputs from 80kW to 280kW, the imax plus has been designed to be flexible to use, as well as to install.
Operating at up to 96.6% efficient nett (87% gross cv) non-condensing, and 108.4% nett (97.7% gross cv) at 30% load, the imax plus is able to match the load required by the system, ensuring these efficiencies apply to even the largest model.
The imax plus uses advanced microprocessor based controls to operate all electrical functions and provides full commissioning and fault diagnostic displays. Furthermore, it takes into account each module's operating hours and evens out usage. The Hours Run Meters and BMS control is built-in as standard and an outside sensor for weather compensation is supplied with each boiler.
