The Ideal solution for hotels
Ideal Boilers’ high efficiency range of commercial appliances have been specified for the replacement heating and hot water system at the prestigious Stafford Hotel, in St James’s Place, London.
Two of Ideal’s Super Plus boilers, one of the most successful modular boiler systems on the market, have been installed to supply the heating and hot water for the 81 individual rooms within the hotel, along with restaurant, bar and other guest areas.

With this in mind, changes to Part L2 of the Building Regulations and the introduction of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive have forced specifiers to look for advanced building control systems.
The boiler plant at The Stafford Hotel in London was over 20 years old, therefore replacing it with a high efficiency system was essential to reduce the hotel’s heating and hot water bills. We specified two Super Plus appliances from Ideal based on the quality and reliability of the boilers, combined with the company’s first class service offering.
Available in seven models with outputs from 200-600kW, the Ideal Super Plus is easy to install and service. Heat exchangers are sited in a combined combustion chamber, effectively creating semi-condensing conditions within each module to achieve 85% gross cv (94% nett cv) energy efficiency at both full and part load conditions.
Ideal for simple vertical or horizontal assembly, installing a Super Plus can save over 30% of the typical plantroom space normally used by conventional boilers. And the system incorporates a range of design innovations reducing boiler installation and servicing time.
